There are many things in this life that seem to escape our attention. It takes something truly special to make us realise what we are missing. Though we are today saying goodbye to the man who put us on the road that we now walk on, we will all walk together.

"To live and to let go" No matter how hard it is, this is the one thing, we have no control over. No matter how deep the wound is we still have to let go. It's been many year since we lost contact, but still remember you in my heart. I say goodbye and we'll meet again some day, may you rest in the peace of the Lord. Thursday was the day we said goodbye to a man who was truly special in all of our hearts. He taught us so many lessons of life; none more important to him than the importance of family and togetherness. It's been nearly 8 years since all of us grandchildren got together and nothing would have made him happier knowing all 5 of his kids and all of us grandkids were together sharing the memories of his life, supporting each other through the tears and smiling knowing that he's looking down on us with a glass of rum in one hand.... and a tube of superglue in the other!
